Our Approach

Overgaard & Dyrman (O&D) is a contemporary maker of crafted furniture and a design studio based in Denmark. Founded in 2013 by Jasper Overgaard and Christian Dyrman, the O&D studio exists as a collaborative platform for creating original and meaningful furniture and interior objects crafted from the highest quality materials.

Merging traditional crafts with modern technology, our approach bridges the past with the present. By utilizing the best from both the old and the new, we are actively preserving traditional artisan skills while also pushing the limits of what is possible with 21st century tools.

Designs by Christian and Jasper are often inspired by geometry, time-honored craftsmanship, and forms found in nature. With each new design we remain focused on creating authentic expressions of engineering elegance meant to inspire and delight.

During the development process, all our pieces are meticulously refined so that every specification enhances the ergonomic experience while also celebrating the materiality and method of construction of each product.

All Overgaard & Dyrman pieces are made by skilled craftsmen and each made-to-order piece is individually stamped and numbered by its maker, reinforcing the attention to detail and pride in their work.
