‘Learning by doing’ has been a recurring theme in the development of the Wire Collection – both when it comes to leather and metal work. Countless hand-sewn leather upholsteries and hand welded steel frames came before the final pieces. Special made tools and jigs enabled the making of complex forms and details. Christian and Jasper’s knowledge to metal and leather work allowed them to challenge and develop on traditional crafts techniques and to make a collection with both structural and visual strength.
