In beautiful Firenzuola, between Bologna and Florence, we had the pleasure of visiting Il Casone – A fourth-generation business working within the field of mining, cutting, and processing of stone. Next to their main facility Casone has their own quarry from where they extract the Pietra Forte Fiorentina sandstone, which they are internationally known for.
